MNPS budget shortfall less than expected

(Nashville, TN) -- Metro Nashville Public Schools is facing a budget shortfall next year, but it's eight-million-dollars less than expected.

Officials announced Wednesday they overestimated charter school enrollment by 875 students, reducing the gap to 15-million-dollars. Nearly 59-hundred children will attend charters for the 2014-2015 school year.
