NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ A Nashville police detective has been placed on administrative leave after officials say he inadvertently shot a man in the ankle while making an arrest.
The Tennessean reported that Det. Charles McEachron's AR-15 rifle went off as he arrested 25-year-old Genaro Novarro Pascual on Sunday night. Police say Pascual was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in stable condition.
